Zinedine Zidane’s final professional match ended in one shocking instant, with a World Cup final headbutt that changed everything. In the 2006 World Cup final between France and Italy, Zidane had come out of retirement to lead France through qualifying and the knockout rounds, then scored a Panenka penalty in the seventh minute before Marco Materazzi equalized for Italy.
